Governance

The governance structure uses consensus to co-produce knowledge and promotes diversity, inclusion, mutual respect, and equality to foster innovation and achieve the Partnership’s objectives. The Partnership further strives to apply the principle of parity to all aspects of the governance structure to ensure that diversity of gender, ethnicity and milieu (research or praxis) is respected in all of the Partnership's discussions and decisions. The governance structure is comprised of five committees/commissions and is supported by the WAGE Coordination Team.

Joint Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is the Partnership's guidance body. It is comprised of a chair (or co-chairs) and eight members, four of whom are from the teaching and research community and four from praxis. Half of its members are Indigenous or representatives of Indigenous partners, and it will include as many women as men, if possible. The current members are:

Research Commission
