The Fourth Cohort of the Fulbright Arctic Initiative held its closing meeting during the Arctic Encounter Summit in Anchorage in April.
WAGE Circumpolar Partnership members Anna Karlsdóttir and Karen Everett participated in the fourth Fulbright Arctic Initiative (2024-2026), which included working in thematic groups on policy relevant topics. Anna was a member of the ‘Arctic Resources’ group which produced a policy brief on critical minerals called Time to Mine? Mining with and For Arctic Communities, while Karen was a member of the ‘Security and Governance’ group which produced a policy brief on critical infrastructure called The Full Perspective on Critical Infrastructure Checklist (Full POCI).
